Who We Are
Phi Sigma Pi is a Co-Ed National Honor Fraternity for all disciplines that is based on a tripod of three ideas: scholarship, leadership and fellowship. It is an active organization whose members participate in a wide variety of academic, service and social events that support each leg of the tripod. We strive to achieve what others only dream of.
Today, over 90 chapters exist throughout the continental United States and over 20,000 students, alumni and faculty nationwide have met the standards for membership.
Phi Sigma Pi is a balance between scholarship, leadership and fellowship. It is one-third honor society, one-third service organization and one-third social fraternity. The honor society aspect sets Phi Sigma Pi apart and commands respect. The social fraternity aspect builds fellowship and commitment, which in turn serves as a stimulus to undertake service projects, the greatest expression of leadership.
Our Mission Statement:
In carrying out the purpose of the National Fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi shall strive to personify and encourage three ideas:

1.The acquisition and dissemination of information and knowledge through scholarship,

2.The application of professional skills and the fostering of leadership qualities by promoting and advancing the welfare of humanity, and

3.The fostering of non-discriminatory, fraternal fellowship within Phi Sigma Pi’s ranks.
The Tripod
Scholarship: To have achieved an exemplary grade point average is fantastic, but it isn’t enough. Learning outside of the classroom with Phi Sigma Pi will give you the necessary edge you need for entering the job market and it will make you a better-rounded person.
Leadership: Members believe that leadership is developed through serving others on campus and in your community. Community service ranges from planting trees at area parks or collecting canned food for the homeless, to participating in our own 5K Run for our philanthropy Teach for America.
Fellowship: Road trips, picnics, sporting events, formals, you name it, we do it! Phi Sigma Pi is a fraternity that allows you to have fun and build friendships that will last a lifetime. Phi Sigma Pi members share a common spirit. With the principles of scholarship, leadership, and fellowship at its foundation.
