Alpha Beta Chapter |
||||
Alpha Beta Chapter is located at the University of Maryland at College Park. We were founded on March 5, 1988 by Mike McQueney, a graduate student originally from Sigma Chapter. Alpha Beta is the first successful Alpha chapter. Our founding began a rebirth of Phi Sigma Pi after hard times and much inactivity. Alpha Beta is also active at school and in the community. We participate in service projects such as blood drives, community clean ups, canned food drives, big brother / big sister and many others. We also strive to support our national philanthropy - Teach for America. Alpha Beta also takes advantage of such scholarship opportunities as campus acapella concerts, tours of Annapolis and Washington, D.C., movies and museums. We build leadership through career and resume building workshops, leadership seminars and guest speakers. Looking for fun? Come to one of our many parties, social events, or clubbing trips we hold each and every semester. Watch our calendar for updates or check out or rush information to join us! We can't wait to see you!!! |
